May 19, 2004, our beloved Joey would've been 53 years old today, but now he is eternal and immortal, as declared by the 50th anniversary issue of Rolling Stone magazine that placed The Ramones as number 26th on the list of 50 Immortals Rock n' Roll artist. To celebrate the occasion Joey's mom and brother Charlotte and Mickey threw yet another Birthday Bash to gather Joey's friends and fans in a benefit concert and auction to benefit the Lymphoma Cancer research Foundation. With a staff headed by Dave Frey, assisted by Lynn Probst and Arturo Vega and the support of lot's of volunteers and sponsors it was yet another great night to remember. Ramonesworld.com likes to thank the great artist and musicians that contributed their talents to create the awesome one of a kind T-shirts for the auction, and specially likes to thank the close friends Jimmy Marino, Chris Letcher, Bradley Goodrich, Jimmy (from Trash and Vaudeville) and the beautiful Bridget and Mistress Deborah,that who worked very hard the night of the event to bring it all to a successful completion.
